Ofsted has published updated guidance for inspectors to use when inspecting safeguarding under the common inspection framework.
This guidance sets out the key points inspectors need to consider when inspecting safeguarding in early years, education and skills settings. It needs to be read alongside the common inspection framework (CIF) and the individual remit inspection handbooks. The guidance can be accessed here.
