The National Children’s Bureau are delighted to invite local authority (LA) colleagues to attend a webinar about the Early Years Stronger Practice Hubs programme on Thursday 11 August 11.00am – 12.30pm.

Along with NCB, the webinar will also be attended by the Department of Education (DfE) and the Education Endowment Foundation.

The Stronger Practice Hubs programme launches in November 2022, and is part of the DfE’s Early Years Education COVID-19 Recovery Package. The programme aims to support settings to address the impact of the pandemic on young children, by sharing effective practice and building lasting local networks.

This webinar will provide information specifically for LAs, along with the opportunity to ask questions of NCB, DfE and EEF.

This webinar is open to LA colleagues and a maximum of two places per LA are available. The webinar will be recorded and made available here on the Foundation Years website shortly after the session.

Please note that the webinar on 11 August is specifically for LA colleagues and any places registered with a non-LA email address will not be allocated a space.

We look forward to working with LAs to deliver this transformative programme.

You can book your place here.

The application process for Stronger Practice Hubs opens to early years settings on 15 August. To support settings with their applications, two webinars will be provided. One during the week beginning 15 August and one during the week beginning 5 September. These webinars will be specifically for early years settings rather than for LAs.
