Actions for education and childcare settings to prepare for wider opening from 1 June

From 1 June at the earliest, Government are asking early years settings, including childminders, to open to all children, and primary schools to welcome back pupils to Nursery, Reception, year 1 and year 6.

The Department for Education (DfE) have published guidance setting out the overarching aims and principles of this next phase, including information about protective measures which will be in place.

DfE are continuing to work closely with the sector and further guidance and support to help you prepare for wider opening will be published in due course.
